God’s love is bestowed through the creation of man

From word of God, we can understand that there are three personalities in Trinity.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Even though we say the Holy Spirit as the third person,
He is co-equal to the Father and the Son. They are three personalities embedded in
One Almighty God.

For non-Christians, it is very hard to understand about Trinity and they ask us
whether we have three Gods. Let them know that God is one in essence and three in
persons. The God revealed in the Holy Bible, is not the same gods in other religions
or religious books. God in the Bible is one and only true God. Only true sacred book,
which describes God, is the HOLY BIBLE. Therefore, when you say TRINITY, God is
one God, but three coeternal, coequal persons or hypostases – the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit- as one God in three divine persons.

In the Bible, we read that God created man in His own image. Man is a TRIUNE
being and he is composed of SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY. What we see in our naked
eyes is the body of the human being and inside him/her resides the spirit and soul.

Some of the worldly religions worship idols created in the image of a human or
animals or something else. In Psalms 115:4-8 we read about these idols are made of
silver or gold and they are created according to the human imagination.

If you use one word to describe the God of the Bible – the perfect word is LOVE.
Unless we deeply study the Holy Bible, we will not be able to understand the true
God. Bible reveals that God like us have His own will, desire, wrath, anger,
righteousness, etc. God’s desire for us is to love and adore Him. He wanted us to
experience His love in our lives and this can be achieved by having a personal
relationship with Him 24/7 rather than just on Sundays. Worshipping and praising
God represents our love to Him. Sharing the Gospel or mission work is another form
of expressing our love to Him. Attending prayer meetings and fellowship with other
believers also expresses our love to Him. God is not pleased in any ministry that is
not built in love. When your heart is filled with Gods love, it comes out as praise and
worship.

Our God showed His love for the humankind through the life of Jesus Christ. In
Hosea 11:8-9 we read,
How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel?
My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred.
I will not execute the fierceness of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim.
For I am God, and not man, The Holy One in your midst;
And I will not come with terror

From the above verse, we can see the grace, love, and mercy of our God. A servant
of God once said, “God created man in His image (a triune being) so that man would
be the recipient of His overflowing love”. He formed man somewhat as if a potter
forms a beautiful vessel out of the clay. He gently moulded the man, like an artist so
lovingly creates his masterpiece. Why so many details and love in creating a man?
He could have just spoken him into a being. Instead, He created us very gently and
lovingly. By doing this, His heart’s desire is to walk with us, talk with us, fellowship
with us and share His overflowing joy in us.

Many people may ask us to show God we are talking about. Those people do not
realize that it is not because our God does not exist; it is because of the Spirit in them
made their inner eyes blind so that they are unable to see the true living God.
As 1 Peter 1:23 says we have to be born again by the word of God. In addition, as John 3:6 says we have to born again by the Spirit of God. Therefore, it is the work
of the Holy Spirit. As John 16:8 says, He (Holy Spirit) will convict the world– of sin
and of righteousness and of judgment. He will also change our wills, our affections,
and our objectives. He will give us a new purpose and a new goal. Then He will
indwell in us. This is the process of being born again into the family of the ONE and
ONLY true living GOD.
